Strawberry Banana Yogurt Smoothie Tips
Can I replace yogurt with milk in a smoothie?
Yes! You can replace yogurt with milk in a smoothie in equal amounts. Keep in mind that the smoothie will be thinner, but you can add extra ice cubes to help thicken it up. Our watermelon, espresso and banana smoothies are made with milk instead of yogurt.
What does yogurt add to a smoothie?
Yogurt not only creates a creamy texture in the smoothie but also adds a substantial amount of protein, vitamins and minerals. For a high protein, low sugar option, use Greek yogurt.
What else can I add to this strawberry banana smoothie?
You can add many things to this strawberry banana smoothie, like 1 tablespoon chia seeds, 1 cup fresh spinach and 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger. Try our four-berry, ginger-kale and cucumber-melon smoothies! Research contributed by Sarah Fischer, Taste of Home Culinary Assistant
